The Workshop

Ironstone was established in 1997 in Diep River, Cape Town, hand forging wrought iron and steel furniture for homes and gardens. Each piece is cut, bent and welded by hand, then finished to withstand years of indoor and outdoor use with very little maintenance. We guarantee the standard of every weld and every finish that leaves the workshop.

Our associate company, Marble Mill, supplies the natural stone, limestone, marble and granite, that tops many of our pieces. Limestone lends an earthy feel to a casual setting, marble and granite a more formal one. Over 30 years of combined experience in steel and stone sits behind every piece we make.
